Responsibilities
Manage employee records and files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable federal and provincial labour laws.
Support new hire onboarding, including documentation preparation, orientation coordination, and scheduled manager check-ins at defined intervals (e.g., 30/60/90 days).
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and general HR matters, always maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Support employee engagement initiatives that enhance workplace culture.
Manage end-to-end recruitment for Head Office Operations roles across Canada and the United States, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, assessments, and interview coordination.
Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing timely updates on candidate pipelines and hiring timelines.
Conduct labour market research to inform sourcing strategies and contribute to the development of compelling job postings and talent acquisition best practices.
Assist in the coordination for the annual performance review cycle, distributing materials, monitoring completion timelines, and supporting managers with documentation and guidance.
Complete Canadian payroll weekly and serve as a backup for US payroll.
Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned based on evolving departmental needs.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2 years of HR coordination experience, with post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent.
Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, including federal and provincial labour standards.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and empathy.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS platforms; BambooHR experience is an asset.
High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and data-driven recruitment strategies.
Proficiency in French is a significant asset; willingness to learn this languages is also valued.
Must reside and be authorized to work in Canada.

Salary Range - $57,000.00 - $60,000 per year CAD
The compensation range reflects a data-driven estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment. Individual pay may vary based on geographic location, job related skills, knowledge, experience, education etc.
