HR Business Partner APAC
Reports to Head of HR (New York)
Based in Singapore
Hybrid Schedule: 2 days in office (subject to change per company policy)
FLSA Status: Exempt employee (not subject to overtime pay)
Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner, APAC (HRBP APAC) plays an important role in supporting the alignment of people practices with business priorities across the Asia Pacific region, including Singapore, India, Japan, Australia, and Greater China. This role partners closely with employees and people leaders to provide guidance on HR matters, support organizational development, and ensure compliance with local employment laws. The HRBP works with regional leadership to coach and influence managers, support employee engagement initiatives, and contribute to talent development and organizational effectiveness across the region.
This is a full-time position based in Singapore. We offer flexible workplace policies.
HR Business Partnership
Partner with regional leaders and employees to provide HR guidance and support day-to-day people matters
Support workforce planning and organizational effectiveness initiatives aligned with business needs
Monitor HR trends and metrics to inform engagement, retention, and performance initiatives
Talent Management
Lead recruitment for the APAC region (approximately 5–8 hires annually), including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Support the regional performance review process and provide guidance to managers on performance management.
Contribute to succession planning and career development discussions with regional leadership.
Employee Relations & Culture
Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution aligned with company policies
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment across diverse cultures and markets within APAC
Support employee engagement and culture initiatives across the region
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure HR practices comply with local employment laws and regulations across APAC countries
Partner with legal counsel at the New York head office, as well as local legal consultants and vendors, on employment-related documentation and matters
Work with finance and payroll partners to ensure compliance with payroll, statutory, and accounting requirements
Provide oversight of regional administrative matters when required
HR Projects & Organizational Development
Participate in regional and global HR initiatives and projects
Support organizational structure reviews and change initiatives as needed
Identify learning and development needs and coordinate with global HR to deliver relevant training programs
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and practices

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in Human Resources or a related field preferred
Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner role
Experience supporting employees and leaders across multiple countries or within a global organization
Solid understanding of HR best practices and employment regulations across APAC markets
Demonstrated ability to partner with managers to address people challenges and implement effective HR solutions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at different levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR data and trends
Experience supporting change initiatives, organizational development, or business transformation efforts
