HR Advisor

For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK. The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our “Fresh Food Policy” is the foundation of our success and growth in the market coupled with a desire to truly deliver on the promises we make to our clients and support our site-based teams.

We are seeking a HR Advisor who wishes to develop their skills within our busy People team. As well as advising on all people-related issues such as absence, performance management and disciplinary and grievance cases, key tasks will include providing people-based metrics, attending some performance-based meetings and taking meeting notes and supporting the wider HR team.

This is a busy role and involves a lot of teamwork so you will need to be a great communicator and be able to organise your time and work on your own initiative where required. Most of all you should be a real people person who is happy to help support our managers and teams. If you have the drive and passion you will be a great success.

Previous HR experience at a junior advisory level is desirable for this role as well as excellent Excel skills.

Salary - Up to £30,000

This is a hybrid working role of at least 3 days in the Reading office after the initial induction period.

CIPD study support will be considered in the future if you wish to further your HR career.
