We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team. This role serves as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and plays a critical role in supporting payroll, benefits, onboarding, and HR data management and more. Location: Overland Park, KsSchedule: Hybrid – 4 days in-office, 1 day remoteReports To: HR DirectorFLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Essential Functions:
•
Serve as support for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, onboarding, HR systems, policies, and more
•
Respond to high-volume inquiries in a timely and professional manner
•
Guide employees to self-service tools and available HR resources
•
Assist with HRIS troubleshooting, password resets, and general policy clarification
•
Escalate complex or sensitive matters to appropriate HR team members as needed
•
Support payroll processing activities and maintain accurate records
•
Process garnishments, unemployment claims, and related documentation
•
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
•
Accurately process HR transactions including, but not limited to new hires and onboarding, terminations, and other employee related changes.
•
Maintain and audit employee records for accuracy and compliance
•
Generate and maintain HR reports
•
Support ongoing data integrity and system accuracy initiatives
•
Prepare and process employment documentation
•
Support annual and ad hoc audits
•
Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
•
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
•
1+ year of HR, payroll, benefits, or administrative experience
•
1+ year of experience working in an HRIS or payroll system preferred
•
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•
Excellent communication and customer service focused
•
High level of integrity and confidentiality
