To support this mission, Syngenta’s HR Operations team is seeking a HR Accounting Operations LATAM Analyst (fixed term contract for 12 months) in Montevideo, Uruguay. 
Accountabilities 
• Provide accurate, timely and proper substantiation for all payroll related accounting entries in line with the Syngenta Financial Reporting requirements and accounting manual (including payroll journals, accruals for incentives, vacation, social contributions and payroll taxes) Review relevant balance sheet reconciliations in line with corporate IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Business Finance and Finance Operations organizations to verify the correctness of the accounts and provide appropriate substantiation to approve relevant accounts.
• Support internal /external audits, and ensure timely remediation of outstanding audit issues.
• Manages work quality through self-audit for accuracy, timeliness and completeness of work.
• Seeks satisfactory case conclusion for clients whether it be through direct resolution or resolution via handoff/third party groups.
• Engage in issue resolution procedures and follow escalation processes.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement in process and service.
• Complies with Syngenta’s standards, procedures and policies, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Update and maintain various systems/tools per standard process documentation.
• Produce standard correspondence by following existing templates. Adhere to client formatting and quality standards.
• Respond to information requests by searching, summarizing research results and compiling in requested format. Escalate to supervisor as appropriate.
• Deliver client satisfaction through accurate delivery and demonstration of ownership.
• Responsible to comply with Service delivery metrics (KPIs, SLAs, OLAs).
• Build and maintain processes documentation such as Work instructions, desktop procedures, etc.
• Support any audit process and provide required information.
Required  
• Graduate or advanced student (Accounting/Economics).
• Intermediate Level of English.
• Payroll local legal and regulatory requirements knowledge.
• General experience of Payroll accounting processes.
• Experience in Accounting and/or Reporting areas.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is preferred).
• Accounting skills.
• Experience with month end close processes and demonstrated ability to work to deadlines.
• Analytic skill, dynamic, team working, organized, excellent communication skills.
