Housing Support Worker (x2) - Doncaster Complex Needs
📍 Doncaster
đź•’ Full-Time | 39 Hours Per Week | 9:00am – 5:00pmÂ

For over 30 years, we’ve helped individuals facing complex challenges move towards independence, confidence, and a brighter future. We’re now looking for a compassionate and motivated Housing Support Worker to join our team in Doncaster.
About the Role: In this rewarding role, you’ll support a caseload of residents living in shared and independent accommodation. Using a psychologically informed and trauma-informed approach, you’ll help individuals develop the skills they need to move on to independent living. You’ll build strong, positive relationships and work collaboratively with external agencies to provide holistic, person-centred support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting residents as they move into and out of accommodation
Creating and reviewing personalised support plans and risk assessments
Acting as a keyworker, offering guidance, motivation, and practical support
Helping residents manage finances, maximise income, and access benefits
Promoting independence, wellbeing, and personal development
Monitoring tenancy responsibilities, including rent and property upkeep
Liaising with external agencies such as Probation and local authorities
Supporting residents to resolve conflicts and build positive relationships
Maintaining accurate records in line with policies and audit requirements
Contributing to resident activities and service development
What We’re Looking For: You’ll ideally have:
Experience or understanding of working with vulnerable groups
Knowledge of supported housing or similar services
Awareness of welfare benefits and support systems
Understanding of risk assessments and support planning
Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
Confidence in managing challenging situations with sound judgment
đźš— Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
