Do you have a heart for community and a passion for walking alongside others in their housing journey? Ruth & Naomi’s Mission is seeking dedicated Housing Support Workers to join our Interchange team. This frontline role supports residents in a trauma-informed, faith-based environment where dignity, safety, and hope are at the center.

Our supportive housing programs meet people where they are, offering a stable foundation for growth and transformation. At Interchange, we provide safe and supportive housing for individuals seeking or maintaining abstinence, and we walk with them every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
Build positive, respectful relationships with residents and foster a supportive atmosphere
Provide day-to-day engagement and crisis support
Monitor safety, de-escalate conflicts, and respond to emergencies
Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with the team
Promote a safe, clean, and structured living environment
Live out RAN’s values of Grace, Hope, and Trust in all you do
What You Bring
Education & Experience: Grade 12 required; post-secondary in social services or equivalent experience preferred
Training: First Aid required (can be obtained post-hire), NVCI or similar is an asset
Experience: Familiarity with addiction recovery, mental health, or vulnerable populations
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, conflict de-escalation, documentation
Personal Strengths: Emotional boundaries, quick thinking, team-oriented, and compassionate
Other: Criminal Record Check (required), Class 5 driver’s license preferred
Available to work evening, overnight and weekend shifts as needed
