Housing Support and Recovery Worker
Hours: 30 hours
Salary: £29,003- £31,214 pro-rata FTE (pro-rata - salary dependent on skills, experience and knowledge)
Contract: Permanent
Base: East Oxford (Oxfordshire Mind have properties in Oxford, South Oxfordshire and West Oxfordshire. Coverage of multiple sites may be required involving travel between locations)

An understanding of the issues for people with mental health issues living in the community
Knowledge of the housing sector
Experience of working with people with mental health issues.
Experience of working in a housing or residential setting.
Experience of working with people with multiple support needs such as a history of not engaging with services, non-compliance with medication, substance misuse, self-harm, neglect or challenging behaviour.
Experience of working with individuals, enabling them to identify their own goals to support personal wellbeing and recovery, and the ability to support them in pursuing these.
The ability to take responsibility for your own work and make yourself accountable.
Good team working skills such as listening and constructive feedback.
Ability to use your initiative.
Ability to organise and prioritise work.
Competent level of administrative and computer skills.
Ability to work flexibly
Strong communication skills
Knowledge/Understanding of our values
