The Rambler Hotel is looking to immediately hire qualified, enthusiastic, part-time Housepersons.  We are looking for world-class employees who go the extra mile and create the atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back time and time again.
 

Houseperson Position Requirements: 

Previous experience working in a janitorial / housekeeping position preferably in a hotel environment 

Flexible scheduling availability to include working Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays 

Ability to safely lift 30 lbs or more and carry it to another location 

Positive attitude, respect of others and willingness to go above and beyond for our guests and fellow coworkers – We are a TEAM! 

Ability to perform all position responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation and be able to bend, lift, stand and walk throughout the shift

General Position Responsibilities (this is a sampling and not a complete list of all expected duties):

Ensure clean facilities throughout the hotel (including hallways and public areas) – details matter! 

Stocking carts, servicing or replacing guest rooms with linens, towels, furnishings and other amenities upon request and / or in accordance with hotel procedures 

Proper use and storage of supplies and tools

Ensure that special requests for cleanliness, maintenance and appearance of guest rooms are met. 

Report any and all maintenance issues to proper department or supervisor 

Ensure customer experience meets or exceeds expectations. Handle customers’ concerns and requests with a positive attitude.

Notify supervisor if any items are in low inventory

Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.

Ensures the proper maintenance of all departed related equipment

Other duties may be assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, General Manager. 

Communicating effectively with guests and team members verbally or in writing

Part time / variable hours - Pay: $16.00 per hour
