We are seeking a hands-on, detail-obsessed and guest-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team and elevate cleanliness standards across the property. This role is critical in driving exceptional room presentation, improving guest cleanliness scores, and creating an environment where precision, pride and accountability are part of the daily culture.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team on shift to ensure rooms and public areas meet brand and quality standards.
• Conduct detailed room inspections to maintain exceptional presentation and improve guest cleanliness scores.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready on time and guest expectations are exceeded.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, special requirements, and VIP preparations.
• Support roster management to ensure effective staffing levels aligned with occupancy and business needs.
• Train, coach and develop team members to uphold service excellence and a strong attention to detail.
• Monitor linen usage, inventory levels and cleaning supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Drive a culture of accountability, consistency and high standards across the housekeeping team.
• Oversee lost property procedures and guest laundry handling with care and professionalism.
• Lead by example in delivering friendly, professional service that reflects our Heartist culture.

This role requires a supportive leader with strong attention to detail, a practical approach to daily operations, and a genuine passion for maintaining high cleanliness standards. You will enjoy working alongside your team, leading by example, and taking pride in creating a welcoming and well-presented environment for our guests.

To be successful in this sought after role you will demonstrate: 

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in hospitality (Housekeeping experience advantageous); qualifications desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Opera; strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Hands-on, service-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
• Able to work with diverse teams and foster a collaborative environment.
• Flexible, adaptable, and passionate about hotel operations.
