Role Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house operations, including laundry. The role oversees staff scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring compliance with operational, brand, and ISO standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Inspect daily the condition and cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring impeccable standards.
• Maintain all storage and supply areas in a clean, organized, and orderly manner.
• Oversee laundry operations and ensure efficient workflow.
• Plan and manage staff schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
• Actively participate in the training, coaching, and performance monitoring of all Housekeeping team members.
• Ensure strict adherence to brand standards, ISO procedures, and hotel policies to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Office team on room priorities, guest requests, and preferences.
• Work with the Maintenance team to ensure rooms and public areas are maintained in optimal condition.
• Participate actively in departmental and management meetings, providing input for operational improvements.
• Prepare and maintain all relevant periodic reports, including monthly inventory, and recommend improvements.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or similar role within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort environment.
• Degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are considered a strong asset.
