• Compiling Standard Operating Procedures for all areas of responsibility and ensuring that they are periodically updated
• Ensure that all auditing and reporting standards are communicated to and complied with by personnel
·         Ensure that guests benefit from a flawless cleaning product and that the services offered by housekeeping staff are provided in a timely manner
·         Ensure that all quality standards are adhered to and that policies and procedures are consistently implemented
·         Conduct quality control audits in all areas of the hotel under its responsibility and share the results with the team, including superiors.
·         Work with the hotel's Technical Department to keep areas to the highest standards and help plan periodic property maintenance followed by spring cleaning.
·         Coordinate the department's activities with other departments to facilitate and increase communication and guest satisfaction levels
·         Conduct monthly staff meetings and daily briefings with operational managers
Manage all external contractors related to their department by ensuring they comply with all hotel policies
·         To ensure that staff cadres are produced in accordance with business requirements
·         Supervise laundry and uniform, floral and decoration service operations
·         Perform related tasks and assigned special projects, including task management
 
 
• Lead and guide Housekeeping team to provide best service to all team members
• Participate in coaching and counseling 
• Ensure strong leadership practices to actualize an individualized approach to motivation and recognition processes
• Work with all departments on the development and utilization of incentive and other types of motivational programs
• Transfer of knowledge and responsibility to other team members to improve the team experience, and create a shadow cabinet.
 
• Plan for future staffing needs, conducting recruitment in line with company guidelines
• Conduct training needs analysis of Housekeeping staff and ensure training programmers are designed and implemented to meet these needs
• Conduct probation and annual appraisals in line with company guidelines
• Coach, counsel and discipline staff to enhance performance
• Establish a productive work schedule in line with local labor law
