The Housekeeping Manager is known as the Support Manager at Eataly and ensures compliance with all cleanliness procedures and safety regulations at an Eataly location. Reports to the Director of Store Operations; manages the Support team.
• Manages the Support team: hires, schedules, trains, coaches, motivates and submits payroll
• Follows a consistent schedule of housekeeping to guarantee cleanliness of the store
• Supervises cleaning of dish room and stocking pit equipment, and arranges for repairs and other services
• Executes job/project list generated by Food Safety & Sanitation Manager
• Conducts detailed checks of all restaurant and retail spaces to ensure standards of cleanliness are met
• Inspects dining room and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
• Documents, investigates, elevates and resolves all employee and guest incidents
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
Salary: $65k-$70k
• 2+ years of experience managing a large housekeeping team in a retail or restaurant environment
• Excellent communication skills  
• Demonstrated time management skills and ability to effectively delegate and multitask
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certification highly preferred
• Post-secondary degree preferred
Job Requirements
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to work with commercial dish machine and standard cleaning supplies
• Ability to work in an environment with wet floors, extreme temperatures and loud noise
