We are seeking dedicated Housekeepers to join our team at a brand-new, upscale hotel in the heart of Washington, D.C., offering an elevated hospitality experience. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a modern, sophisticated property that sets a new standard for luxury and hospitality. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring immaculate cleanliness and comfort throughout the hotel.
$15.50/HR - Weekly Pay
Responsibilities:
Clean and tidy guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing furniture.
Replenish room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities ensuring they are always stocked and presented beautifully.
Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the housekeeping manager.
Follow hotel procedures for handling lost and found items.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
Provide exceptional service to guests, responding promptly to their requests and inquiries.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
Collaborate with the housekeeping team to achieve daily cleaning targets and maintain a high standard of service.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and bending.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of English language.
High school degree.
