We have a fantastic opportunity for a successful Hotel General Manager to join this newly developed hotel part of my clients growing portfolio and to form the 2nd property after there award winning inn was opened last year. It will have and exciting food offering and great customer focus. 

We are looking for an exceptional Hotel General Manager with minimum 2 years experience working in a quality hotel environment. 

Following this grand refurbishment during last year this is great time to join the business and really take the lead. As Hotel General Manager you will support the team via hands on management and business developments to increase sales and profitability. You will be an inspiring and ambitious Manager.

Hotel General Manager Responsibilities include:

• Managing all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and high standards throughout
• To lead and motivate all Department Managers, offering a range of support to ensure standards are met
• To ensure all departments are compliant with all policies and procedures, including health, safety, hygiene and licensing laws
• Financial planning, sales, budgeting and payroll
• Reporting to the Estate Manager

Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service skills are paramount
• Must be an inspirational and motivational leader
• Approachable and friendly manner, able to communicate at all levels
• Minimum 2 years experience within a similar quality hotel environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literacy
• A proven track record in managing people including recruiting, training & developing and performance management
