A minimum of 1 year of serving experience and previous experience in a leadership role is required.

Egg Harbor Café Hospitality Team leader responsibilities include being a part of the Hospitality Core team by serving our guests and giving them the best experience possible. In this role, you are a bridge between a Hospitality core (server) teammate while learning an introduction to management at your own pace. You will be expected to help open or close the restaurant a few days a week as well as starting to complete our Manager on Duty (MOD) Training Plan. This is a great way to get your foot in the door for management. If you complete and pass Tier 1 (MOD) Training Plan, you can continue to Tier 2 (Assistant Store Lead) Training plan to be eligible to be an Egg Harbor Café manager.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

Helping us teach, coach, and uphold our Harbor Core Values

Serving our guests in accordance with the Ideal Guest Experience Training Plan

Open the restaurant 1-2 days a week

Close the restaurant 1-2 days a week

Sit down with teammates on the Hospitality Core team to praise and recognize their good work

Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction within your section

Organize and supervise shifts with the serving team

Attend and contribute to weekly meetings with management

Spend time with manager(s) to learn Tier 1: MOD Training Plan

Ensure compliance with sanitation, allergen, and following safety regulations

Hire and train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

Implement policies and protocols to Hamco standards

Eventually handle customer complaints to ensure the guest leaves happy

Eventually complete food/supplies orders

Eventually complete the Hospitality Team’s schedule

Complete your manager sanitation certification throughout training

Requirements:

 Proven work experience in leadership or customer service

A minimum of 1 year serving experience

 Strong leadership, communication, and people skills

An eagerness to learn all areas of the restaurant as you grow

Full time availability, weekends and most holidays required
