Hospitality Services Attendant at Woodcrest of Country Manor - Part-Time

Job Summary
The Hospitality Services Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for Woodcrest residents, employees, and volunteers. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service while supporting seniors in a respectful and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities
Perform housekeeping duties including disinfecting, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors, walls, and floors, emptying trash, and organizing furniture
Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas and utility rooms
Report needed repairs or improvements to the Environmental Services Supervisor
Refer medical or personal care questions to the nurse in charge in a timely manner
Complete scheduled duties and special projects as assigned
Perform light maintenance tasks and track time spent
Provide friendly companionship and positive interaction with residents
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Experience with housekeeping and laundry duties, including cleaning techniques, tools, supplies, and equipment
Knowledge of chemical use, hazardous waste handling, and infection control practices
Strong communication skills to foster positive relationships with management, staff, residents, and families
Desire to work with seniors with patience, tact, and consideration
Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Warm, welcoming, and friendly demeanor
Ability to listen, understand, and appropriately respond to concerns
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Commitment to resident privacy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Reliable and dependable
Light mechanical background preferred, but not required
