Job Title: Hospitalist Physician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to hospitalized adult patients. The hospitalist will manage acute and chronic medical conditions, coordinate care across specialties, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered treatment throughout the hospital stay.
Key Responsibilities:
• Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and diagnostic evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care with consulting specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Respond to rapid response events and clinical emergencies as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license to practice in [State].
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in inpatient medicine.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
