Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles is a rapidly expanding psychiatric hospital committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to both adult and geriatric patients. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Hospital Administrator at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles serves as a senior leader responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the facility while ensuring excellence in patient care, safety, compliance, and organizational performance. This role plays a critical part in creating a positive, efficient, and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
In this position, the Hospital Administrator directs daily operations, manages departmental performance, oversees budgets and operational processes, and ensures the facility remains compliant with all healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. They work closely with clinical and department leaders to support quality patient outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and implement programs and services that meet the needs of the patient population.
The Hospital Administrator is also heavily involved in strategic planning, facility growth, employee engagement, and community outreach efforts to strengthen the organization and support long-term success. This role promotes collaboration across departments while fostering a culture centered on teamwork, accountability, compassion, and high-quality care.
Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills are essential for success in this position. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably administration/business related
License: None Required
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a Leadership Position in a Hospital/Nursing Facility serving Senior Adults with Psychiatric Issues
