Hospital Administrator | Behavioral Health | Louisiana
Freedom Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospital Administrator to lead operations at our 82 bed acute psychiatric facility, providing both inpatient and outpatient services to adults (21+).
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring high standards of patient care, and fostering collaboration across departments.
About the Role
The Hospital Administrator serves as the senior operational leader of the facility, overseeing clinical and non-clinical departments, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. This individual will play a critical role in building a strong culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance.
What You’ll Do
Lead day-to-day hospital operations across all departments
Foster collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams
Manage financial, environmental, and operational resources effectively
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and third-party payer requirements
Support a culture of quality care, patient safety, and continuous improvement
Promote an inclusive, culturally competent environment for staff and patients
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field)
2–3+ years of leadership experience in a hospital or skilled nursing setting
Experience working with adult and geriatric psychiatric populations preferred
Strong understanding of healthcare operations and payer requirements
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and commitment to quality care
