Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (DFW Territory)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hospice Marketing / Business Development Representative to drive referral growth and census development throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong referral relationships within hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, physician practices, and community partners.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in hospice marketing, understands Medicare hospice eligibility guidelines, and thrives in a territory-based, relationship-driven environment.
Responsibilities
• Develop, manage, and expand referral relationships within the assigned DFW territory.
• Conduct in-person sales calls to hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), physician offices, and community partners.
• Educate referral sources on hospice eligibility criteria, services, and care philosophy.
• Drive and maintain target census growth goals.
• Track referral activity and maintain accurate CRM documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Represent the organization at networking events, healthcare meetings, and community outreach initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and referral patterns to inform growth strategies.
Required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of hospice marketing experience.
• Demonstrated track record of census growth.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare hospice eligibility criteria.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to manage territory independently and meet performance targets.
Preferred
• Established referral relationships within DFW hospitals and SNFs.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary hospice teams.
• CRM system experience.
