Position Overview
The Hospice Marketer / Community Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining strong referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare partners throughout Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend.
You will serve as the primary ambassador for our hospice program—educating referral sources, promoting hospice awareness, and supporting families and providers through the referral process.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain referral relationships with physicians, discharge planners, social workers, facilities, and community partners
Educate healthcare professionals on hospice services, eligibility, and benefits
Promote hospice awareness through community outreach and educational presentations
Serve as a liaison between referral sources, hospice staff, patients, and families
Track referrals, activity, and outreach efforts in coordination with leadership
Collaborate closely with the hospice leadership and intake teams
Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory and ethical standards
Represent the agency professionally at community events and meetings
Qualifications
Healthcare marketing, sales, or community liaison experience preferred
Hospice or home health marketing experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of hospice eligibility and referral processes is a plus
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
Self‑motivated with strong organizational and follow‑up abilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, reflecting the Corpus Christi community
