Brief Overview of Responsibilities for Hospice Clinical Manager:
Clinical Oversight
Coordinate and oversee all patient services, including supervision of clinical staff, chart audits, and QAPI activities.
Staff Management
Appraise staff performance, provide teaching and counseling, and assist with orientation and training.
Compliance and Records
Oversee patient clinical records and ensure compliance with Medicare, State, and ACHC regulations.
Direct Patient Care
Provide patient care in the home setting as needed.
Meetings and Supplies
Participate in audits, IDG meetings, QAPI, and maintain adequate medical supplies.
Professional Development
Pursue ongoing self-development through education, workshops, and professional activities.
Qualifications:
One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice
One year of RN management experience
Current Virginia State RN License
