Spirit Hospice believes that a big heart is a superpower. We’re looking for a Hospice Chaplain who can hold space for others with grace, strength, and maybe a little humor on the side.
What you’ll do:
Walk alongside patients and families through some of life’s hardest but most meaningful moments.
Help families navigate the messy parts.. grief, fear, and sometimes paperwork.
Lead with compassion, advocate fiercely, and remind people that even in loss there’s still love and dignity.
Collaborate closely with nurses, social workers, aides, and volunteers in our interdisciplinary team (IDT), ensuring care is heart-centered.
Offer spiritual guidance, and that grounding presence people remember long after the goodbye.
What you bring:
at least 1 CPU
Hospice, medical, or mental health experience (and if not hospice yet, a calling to it).
A steady heart that can hold both tears and laughter in the same breath.
Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills.
