Location: Kitsap County| Schedule: Full-Time| Salary: $23.75 - $27.00/hour + Benefits

We're seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hospice care for patients in Kitsap County. Care is delivered in diverse settings, including private homes, adult family homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the CNA supports the hospice plan of care and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Support mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent skin breakdown.
Aid with feeding and hydration, monitoring intake as needed.
Observe and promptly report changes in condition to the care team.
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
Follow individualized care plans and instructions to ensure patient needs are met.
Offer respite care by providing coverage and support to family caregivers.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Current, active Washington State CNA certified, in good standing
Active BLS certification
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Minimum 1 year experience in hospice or home health preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of healthcare related experience required
Proficient with EMR systems and healthcare technologies
Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, and work independently within scope of practice
Adaptable to diverse social, cultural, and religious backgrounds
