We are looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven HORECA Sales Lead to drive business growth across Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering (HORECA) segments. This role is ideal for someone with strong connections in the hotel industry, particularly within 4-star and 5-star properties. The candidate could be a former chef experienced in purchasing cookware and kitchen equipment, or a procurement professional from premium hospitality brands who understands institutional buying behavior.
This is a relationship-first sales role. Success in this position depends on your ability to build trust, maintain long-term partnerships, and identify revenue opportunities within hospitality networks.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage strong relationships with hotel chefs, F&B heads, procurement managers, and purchase teams.
• Drive sales of cookware, kitchen equipment, and related hospitality products to hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing hospitality networks and expand market reach.
• Conduct product demonstrations, tastings, or trials (if applicable) to showcase value and quality.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements while ensuring healthy margins.
• Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, logistics, and after-sales support.
• Maintain consistent follow-ups to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
• Track competitor activity and market trends within the HORECA sector.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills within the hospitality industry.
• Proven sales ability with a consultative approach.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of hotel procurement processes and vendor onboarding systems.
• Ability to influence decision-makers such as Executive Chefs, General Managers, and Purchase Heads.
• Target-driven mindset with strong follow-through.
• Basic knowledge of cookware, kitchen equipment, or hospitality supplies is preferred.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Preferred Background
• Experience in HORECA sales, hotel procurement, F&B operations, or culinary roles.
• Former chefs who have handled kitchen purchasing or vendor selection are highly encouraged to apply.
• Procurement professionals from 4-star or 5-star hotels with vendor management experience are also a strong fit.
• Experience range: 0–10 years (Freshers with strong hospitality connections may also apply).
