Home Health Billing Specialist

Are you a detail-driven professional with a strong background in home health billing and revenue cycle management? We’re looking for an experienced Home Health Billing Specialist to lead our billing operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal reimbursement.

About the Role
As our Home Health Billing Specialist, you will oversee all aspects of the billing process, work closely with clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily billing operations for home health agency services

Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to Medicare and private insurers

Monitor accounts receivable and lead follow-up on unpaid claims

Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations

Analyze billing data and generate financial reports

Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and maximize reimbursement

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in home health billing (management experience a plus)

Detailed knowledge of Medicare billing regulations, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and HIPAA compliance.

Experience with Wellsky/Kinnser EMR and billing software systems

Certified Professional Biller (CPB) from AAPC, a plus.

Excellent management, communication, and organizational skills

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
