Job Overview
The Scheduler / Home Care Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring caregiver shifts are filled accurately and on time, with a strong focus on weekend coverage. This role serves as a key communication hub between caregivers, care managers, clients, and family members, and plays a critical part in maintaining continuity of care. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, calm under pressure, and able to make sound staffing decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Fill open caregiver shifts based on client needs, caregiver availability, and service requirements.
• Manage same-day call-offs and urgent schedule changes.
• Coordinate with care managers regarding client needs, staffing priorities, and service continuity.
• Communicate with caregivers, clients, seniors, and family members regarding scheduling concerns.
• Use scheduling systems such as WellSky to support caregiver-to-client matching and staffing decisions.
• Maintain accurate schedule records, updates, and handoffs between shifts.
• Build working familiarity with caregiver strengths, limitations, and suitability for specific client cases.
• Escalate urgent staffing issues, call-offs, or service risks to supervisors or designated client contacts.
• Support smooth shift transitions and communicate relevant updates to the next shift.
• Contribute to schedule stability, coverage planning, and service quality.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
• Experience in scheduling, dispatch, workforce coordination, staffing, or a similar operations role.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Strong judgment and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, family members, and internal team members.
• Comfortable handling urgent staffing issues, call-offs, and last-minute changes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work weekends as part of a full-time schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in home care, healthcare scheduling, caregiver staffing, or healthcare dispatch.
• Experience in logistics dispatch or similar real-time coordination roles.
• Experience using WellSky or comparable scheduling / workforce systems.
• Background in a proactive service environment rather than a purely scripted call center role.
Educational Requirements & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Relevant experience in scheduling, dispatch, healthcare support, or operations may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Work Schedule
• NIGHT SHIFT (Current scheduling coverage includes shifts such as 6:00 AM–2:00 PM CST and 2:00 PM–11:00 PM CST)
• SHIFTING SCHEDULE with weekend shift coverage
• WORK FROM HOME
• Php 40,000 - 44,500 all in
