Social Media Specialist

What is your job role?
• Create brand awareness and improve the company's marketing efforts and increase company’s sales.
• Build and execute social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and target audience identification.
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, or video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
• Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
• Stay update with the latest social media trend and practices.
• Assist and undertake any other ad-hoc duties when deemed necessary
Who are we looking for?
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or higher in any field.
• Preferably someone who is interested and have experiences in social medias such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
• Proven working experience in social media marketing and/or digital media marketing would be an advantage.
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
• Excellent writing, editing (text, photo, video), and presentation skills.
• Candidate should be self-motivated, possesses positive attitude, meticulous, detail-oriented, able to work individually and also in a team.
• Able to work under pressure, independently, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English is a must.
• Written and verbal communication skills in other languages/dialect will be an added advantage but it is not necessary.
• Ability to start immediately or with short notice period would be preferred.
