John the Plumber is a family run operation that has been servicing our community for more than 40 years. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Plumbing Technician to join our team. A Technician, will act as a liaison, provide product/service information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer face with accuracy and efficiency. We are seeking a technician that is dedicated to assisting our customers. Our technicians must be patient, empathetic and respectful to our clients at all times. We are seeking a person with strong problem-solving skills and is confident at troubleshooting issues to resolve customer concerns.

Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems. Type of work includes: fixtures, toilets, faucets, water heaters, soldering, and other common plumbing repairs

Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, water quality, and code compliance in residential homes

Handling customer queries, troubleshooting/resolving problems, responding to call-outs, and preparing cost estimates

Sewer and drain clearing/cleaning experience

Good communication and listening skills

Qualifications:

2-5 years of prior plumbing experience

Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal driven environment

Excellent organization, planning and follow-through abilities

Takes great pride in going the extra mile for our customers

Strong customer service skills (active listening, relationship building, etc.)

Benefits:

Great Pay $50,000-$75,000 + Performance Pay and Spiffs
