Schedule

Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Rotating weekends required

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with established care plans

Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and timely

Communicate patient progress and changes to physicians and the clinical team

Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans per physician orders

Educate and support patients and families with compassion and clarity

Coordinate care and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Respond to emergencies with sound clinical judgment and professionalism

Maintain a clean, safe care environment and ensure proper equipment sanitation

Promote a respectful, supportive atmosphere for patients and staff

Preferred Skills & Experience

IV therapy

Pediatric and young adult care

Tracheostomy and G-tube management

Wound care

Ventilator experience (preferred)

Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing (or higher)

Active, unrestricted Florida LPN or RN license

Current CPR/BLS certification

Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, hospital, home health, or hospice settings

Strong knowledge of nursing practices, assessments, and procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Willingness to participate in 5 Star Cares Emergency/Disaster Response Teams (A, B, or C)

Ability to pass AHCA Level 2 background screening
