POSITION DESCRIPTION

This teaching position requires an individual who embraces our divisional Multi Year Strategic Plan through collaboration and
effective and inclusive educational practices that are student centred and data driven.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

o Ability to critically reflect on practice to inform professional growth, particularly around inclusive programming.
o Demonstrates curiosity.
Ability to coordinate, and a passion for intramural, co-curricular, and extra-curricular programming.
Champion physical activity as part of a healthy active lifestyle.
QUALIFICATIONS & CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
• Manitoba Teaching Certificate.

Bachelor of Education.
Bachelor of Music or related post-secondary preferred.
Orff Certification Program, Level 1 preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of the relevant area(s) of the Manitoba Physical Education and Health Education curriculum.
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search.
Clear report from the Child Abuse Registry.
Respect In School or Commit to Kids certification.
Review and comply with divisional policies and guidelines.
