High School History Teacher

Cookson Hills is excited to announce an opening for a High School History Teacher. This is a rare opportunity to join our faculty; we have not had a teaching vacancy since 2023. We are looking for a highly motivated, mission-minded, and certified educator who is ready to jump into a culture of excellence and purpose.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate must be Kingdom-minded, possessing the desire and ability to seamlessly integrate Biblical truth into the Social Studies curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in History Secondary Education, History, or related subject matter from a four-year college or university.

Certification: Current ACSI teacher certification, or the ability to obtain it within two years of hire.

Faith: Must demonstrate active Christian faith and abide by the Cookson Hills Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Agreement.

Tech Savvy: Proficient in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and eager to utilize Smartboards, GradeLink, and other educational technology.
