Job Description

HGV Technician

Monday to Friday

8am until 5pm

Salary: up to £60k a year

My client, a well established fleet maintenance company is actively seeking to employ an experienced and qualified HGV Technician to work on a full time / permanent basis.

Working in a purpose built, well equipped workshop, the successful HGV Technician will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance. Duties range from inspections, repairs, servicing, recovery, diagnostics, full vehicle overhauls and anything in between. You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.

Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Technicians on a mixed fleet of vehicles that include LGVs, HGVs, Buses and Commercial vehicles.

In order to qualify for the role, the successful HGV Technician must hold an NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds level 3, HGV license would be preferable but not essential, tachograph qualifications would be preferable but not essential .
