For our office in Plovdiv, we are looking for a Help Desk Specialist to support existing infrastructure, make configuration or changes on servers or network, and provide technical support.
Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Setting up new hardware and software systems.
Providing solutions for users.
Creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts.
Managing passwords and access permissions.
Performing regular maintenance tasks such as backups and updates.
Documenting issues and resolutions for future reference.
Escalating complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.
Educating users on security best practices.
Requirements:
Excellent spoken and written English;
Proficiency in Windows, macOS, Linux, or other operating systems commonly used in the organization.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ITSM, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Analytical thinking to identify root causes of problems.
Ability to work in a team environment, sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues when needed.
An associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred, though not always required.
Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is a plus.
