Job Summary:
We are seeking a Heavy Lift Study Engineer to support construction and industrial projects by planning and engineering safe and efficient lifting operations. The role focuses on preparing lift studies, rigging plans, and ensuring all lifting activities comply with safety standards and project requirements. You will work closely with project teams, crane operators, and safety personnel to execute complex lifting operations successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed lift studies, rigging plans, and lifting procedures for heavy and critical lifts
Perform load calculations and engineering analysis for cranes and rigging systems
Review drawings, equipment weights, and site conditions to determine lifting requirements
Develop lift plans including crane configurations, rigging layouts, and methodologies
Coordinate with project, construction, and HSE teams for safe lifting execution
Assess crane positioning, ground bearing capacity, and lifting constraints
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures
Provide technical support during critical lifts and complex operations
Review and validate subcontractor or vendor lifting plans
Participate in risk assessments and method statement preparation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
At least 3–8 years of experience in heavy lifting, rigging, or crane engineering
Experience in construction, oil & gas, mining, or industrial projects is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, crane operations, and load calculations
Proficiency in 3D software (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD 3D) for lift planning and analysis
Familiarity with international lifting standards and safety regulations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
Good communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
Must be willing to report onsite at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Mon-Fri, morning shift)
