CBO Earthworks is seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry, who can operate equipment efficiently and safely to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, graders, etc.) to complete finish grading and excavation with precision and care.

Conduct trench work and underground utility installation in compliance with OH&S standards and CBO Earthworks’ Code of Practice for Ground Disturbance.

Complete pre-operational checklists and perform light maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, refueling) to ensure equipment reliability.

Demonstrate strong awareness and safe practices in Ground Disturbance and trench safety.

Follow site foremans instructions and contribute to a productive, respectful jobsite.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years’ experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting.

Proficient in GPS systems including Trimble and Leica.

Proven ability to perform quality finish and grade work.

Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and have reliable transportation to and from our Head Office in Lacombe.

Strong safety awareness and commitment to jobsite protocols.

Job Details:

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends as needed.
