Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment, including pickup trucks and asphalt paving equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential automotive maintenance services. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality automotive service

Job Requirements / Responsibilities:

Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and ability to lift, carry, bend, crawl, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and crouch and able to stand for long period of time

Perform physically demanding work.

Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments including heat, cold, dust, mud, and noise.

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts if needed.

Perform preventive maintenance and timely equipment repairs

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and after-treatment systems (DEF, DPF, SCR).

Complete scheduled PM services and identify equipment deficiencies before failures occur.

Communicate effectively with equipment operators and supervisors regarding repair needs and equipment performance.

Follow all company safety guidelines, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.

Complete service reports and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Self-motivated, with own tools

Minimum 5 years’ mechanic experience

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Must be able to pass a drug test.

Pay: Compensation will be based on experience.
