Job Description

C & S Sweeping is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude.

Duties
- Conduct repairs and inspections on heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues
- Use hand, power, and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on heavy equipment.
- Operate and test heavy equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend the life of heavy equipment.

Qualifications

-Experience as a Mechanic with a focus on road construction heavy equipment
- Ability to suspend equipment or perform repairs in tight spaces.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Hydraulic and Diesel experience preferred
