Job Overview:
The Civil Construction Superintendent/ Project Manager requires hands on jobsite activities & in-depth understanding in projects cost, will coordinate all project activities, monitor the progress and manage potential issues, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence and high-quality standards. This position requires substantial experience and deep knowledge in managing multiple large-scale projects in Civil Construction, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and provide a detailed, accurate and competitive cost estimate for civil construction projects, including subcontractor expenses, equipment, labor and material.
Evaluate project strategies, examine project plans, specifications and contract documentation.
Oversee multiple projects management and successful delivery, ensuring to schedules, budgets and quality requirements.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, superintendents and other team members to ensure streamlined project operations.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers
Develop and maintain projects schedules, budgets and plans.
Conduct daily site visits and consistent site monitoring progress, resolve any issues.
Prepare and present project status report to the management.
Identify and implement control measures to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
Experience operating equipment such as Dozer,Excavator, Motor Grader & Machine control experience.
Proven previous experience minimum of 10 years of Superintendent & project management in Civil Construction performing Road Building, Earth moving, Drainage Systems, Water and Sewer systems.
Proven records of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects
Extensive knowledge of civil construction processes
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
Problem-solving skills, communication & dynamic leadership
Ability to lead and manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
Deep understanding of safety regulations
