Job Description

Fortius Clinic is looking to hire a Healthcare Assistant to join their Theatre Department. This will be to work in their Surgical Centre in Marylebone, London.

Full-time permanent position.

37.5 hours per week.

Monday - Friday with on-call weekend availability.

Principal Accountabilities

• Assist with peri-operative care.

• Assist in all regulatory checks namely swabs and WHO ssc.

• Have a basic understanding of orthopaedic procedures carried out in the theatres.

• Liaise effectively with nursing staff, multi-disciplinary teams and other allied health professionals.

• Make appropriate and objective written entries in patient records, keeping them accurate and up to date.

• Assist the theatre administrator with the preparation and completion of charge sheets (revenue capture).
