Health & Wellness Summer Intern

Job Description:

Incumbent will assist with the Health& Wellness Summer Intern Program activities.

Duties:

Assists with implementing the Health & Wellness department's goals, objectives, and activities per the Pueblo of San Felipe Tribal Administration's.    

Provide administrative assistant support to the program administrator/coordinator as required, including—but not limited to—creating flyers, tracking program attendance, performing clerical duties, and updating meal plans.

Assist and support the Summer Program.

Attend program activities.

Assist with the preparation and serving of lunch if needed.  

Ensuring that all goods are stored properly to ensure everything is organized and in place

Stocking and maintaining inventory levels.

Ensure no products exceed shelf life.

Coordinating and managing the disposal of trash and unused supplies.

Organize and maintain strict records of all products labeled and stocked throughout Health and Wellness.

Must obtain First Aid, AED, CPR, and food handler certification.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements: Must consistently exercise, bend, stoop, run, spin, sit, and stand for long periods. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be physically able to bend, stoop, run, walk, spin, jump, and stand for long periods.

Indoor and outdoor locations. The employee actively engages in physical movement.
