The Health & Safety Supervisor ensures a safe, secure, and compliant environment for guests, employees, and visitors. In a busy hotel setting, this role focuses on preventing accidents, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining compliance with local regulations and brand policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safety Compliance & Policies

• Ensure the hotel complies with Egyptian health & safety laws and Accor standards
• Develop, implement, and update HSE policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across all departments

2. Risk Assessment

• Identify workplace hazards (kitchens, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.)
• Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor high-risk areas such as fire systems, pools, and kitchens

3. Training & Awareness

• Conduct safety induction training for new employees
• Organize fire drills and emergency response exercises
• Promote safety awareness campaigns among staff

4. Incident Management

• Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses
• Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures
• Maintain records of all safety-related incidents

5. Emergency Preparedness

• Ensure fire safety systems are operational (alarms, extinguishers, exits)
• Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures
• Act as a key contact during emergencies

6. Hygiene & Health Control

• Monitor food safety practices (HACCP compliance)
• Ensure proper sanitation in kitchens and public areas
• Work closely with housekeeping and F&B departments

• Bachelor’s degree (or diploma) in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in hospitality or hotel safety
• Strong knowledge of fire safety, risk assessment, and emergency procedures
• Good communication skills (Arabic & English)
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Prior experience working with Opera Cloud or a related system

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
