WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT

As Health & Safety Manager Logistics, you will play the key role in securing a proactive, compliant and high-quality health and safety setup across all JYSK Distribution Centre’s in Europe.

Several core tasks and key responsibilities in the role:

• Leading the tactical implementation of the newly developed Health & Safety strategy across the entire JYSK Logistics organisation
• Develop training and competence development for Distribution Centres in H&S topics
• Driving analyses and follow-up on accidents, near misses and risk observations, and support implementation of corrective actions
• Facilitating cross-DC knowledge sharing, best practice and collaboration across departments and DCs
• Monitoring Health & Safety performance at all 10 Distribution Centres and continuously setting new ambitious goals for improvements
• Facilitating internal audits and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety concept and local legislation
• Ensure KPI and reporting within the H&S resort including MYSAFETY app responsibility

You will report directly to the HR Director in JYSK Logistics organisation and work closely with DC Management Teams and the Logistics organisation. You will spearhead the matrix responsibility for the local Health & Safety Managers at all 10 Distribution Centres.

Your base will be in our JYSK Distribution Centre in Uldum. As the position is international, 30-40 travel days a year is expected.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

We expect you to have strong experience within Health & Safety management from an international environment, ideally backed by knowledge and experience in standardised Safety systems ex. ISO 45001.

In addition, you will be described by the below mentioned characteristics:

• The drive to deliver outstanding results and continually strive to raise the bar on both quality, efficiency and performance. 
• Strategic mindset and solid Logistics understanding
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
• Experience in stakeholder management and working across cultures
• Analytical problem‑solving capabilities and project management skills
• Experience with change management and/or large‑scale transformations
• Fluent in written and spoken English
