We’re searching for a Health, Safety and Wellness Manager who loves partnering with leaders, supporting employees with care, and bringing innovative solutions to life. In this role you will champion our disability management and health and safety programs by leading the development and implementation of proactive strategies to reduce disability-related absences, incidents and improve employee well-being.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and disability management policies and procedures
• Oversee disability cases, including accommodations, modified work arrangements, and return-to-work planning 
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and stay current on industry trends
• Liaise with medical professionals, third-party administrators, and insurers to coordinate and manage disability claims
• Provide guidance and education to leaders and employees on health, safety, and disability-related policies, rights, and responsibilities
• Track and report on health, safety, and disability metrics, costs, and outcomes, identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Serve as the primary point of contact for health, safety, and disability-related inquiries and escalations

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Occupational Health, Disability Management, or related field
• Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent designation preferred
• 5+ years of experience in health and safety management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role in health care field (home care experience an asset)
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, disability legislation and return-to-work best practices
• Annual salary for this is $80,000 - $95,000 (compensation is based on experience)
