About the role:
As the Health & Safety Administrator, you’ll provide administrative and system support to ensure our health and safety processes run smoothly and effectively. This role offers strong potential for career growth, with exposure across multiple areas of the function. You’ll work closely with operational teams and the Health & Safety Coordinator. Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining and updating H&S systems, including SharePoint sites
Coordinating and scheduling H&S training across the organisation
Tracking and maintaining training records (e.g. Emergency Response, Warehouse, Production)
Ensuring H&S boards across sites are accurate and up to date
Supporting Health & Safety Committee meetings, including taking minutes and tracking actions
Supporting incident reporting, data entry, and trend analysis
Assisting with maintaining the Risk Register
Supporting return to work and injury management processes
Conducting routine PPE inspections and following up on actions
What we’re looking for:
You have previous experience in a Health & Safety or similar administrative role. Any relevant Health & Safety certification or qualification is an advantage. You’re a quick learner who can pick up new systems with ease and have strong attention to detail. You’ll also bring:
Strong technical skills, with experience using Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook and Excel)
Confidence in managing data, reporting, and tracking compliance activities
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across the business
A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
