Job Summary
Our busy, patient-focused office, needs a reliable, well-organized Health Office Manager to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. The Health Office Manager will be responsible for developing intraoffice communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, and inventory control. The Health Office Manager will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living experience. We're looking for an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats.
Job Responsibilities
Instruct staff on how to administer medications and document therapeutic effects through the 32-hour Medication Administration course and the 4-hour Refresher course
Monitor the provision of health-related services for compliance with state and federal regulations and company policy as well as compliance with Individual Support Plans.
Communicate and collaborate with residents, multidisciplinary team members, and outside medical professionals to provide and coordinate appropriate and adequate physical and psychological support.
Enforce compliance with medication administration policies and procedures.
Maintain the Comprehensive Medical Health Record for all individuals supported in the residential program.
Qualifications
Current LPN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
2+ years' nursing experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Supply management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
Comfort with fast-paced environment
Compassionate and friendly demeanor
Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
