Required Skills
Job Description
Reaktor's award-winning tech community is looking for a Health Engagement Manager to join our Health Business Unit in Amsterdam.
Reaktor Health builds high-value, safe, and robust digital health systems that measurably reduce administrative burden, enable clinicians to better focus on valuable care, and unlock hybrid care delivery. Our clients include global leaders such as Hologic and Varian as well as regional forward-looking companies such as Zorg bij jou, Thuisarts, Xpert Clinics, Terveystalo, ZAP Surgical, and Orion Pharma.
Our work increasingly extends to health large language model (LLM) applications and AI in healthcare, where we design and implement compliant, explainable, and scalable AI solutions that support automation of administrative work, assisted care coordination, and enhanced patient engagement.
As a Health Engagement Manager, you will be:
• Leading client engagements that combine digital strategy, design, data, and engineering to create measurable impact in healthcare delivery and outcomes.
• Building trusted partnerships with executives and clinical leaders in hospitals, care networks, and medtech companies — helping them shape and deliver their digital transformation agendas.
• Translating strategic business and clinical objectives into actionable digital roadmaps, service models, and transformation programs.
• Driving business development and account growth across the Dutch healthcare ecosystem.
• Evaluating and communicating the economic and clinical value of digital health and AI solutions — understanding reimbursement logic, value-based healthcare, and health economics.
• Supporting our cross-disciplinary teams in aligning design and technology efforts with client goals, regulatory frameworks, and reimbursement mechanisms.
• Acting as a thought partner for clients navigating the digital transformation of healthcare — including digital front doors, hybrid care, remote monitoring, and AI-enabled clinical services.
Ideally, you:
• Have five or more years of experience in digital health business development, management consulting, or digital transformation delivery.
• Are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Possess a deep understanding of the Dutch healthcare system, including reimbursement mechanisms, health economics, and value-based care.
• Excel in executive communication and stakeholder management, building long-term trusted relationships.
• Combine strategic thinking with hands-on collaboration, moving fluidly between client boardrooms and project teams.
• Have a proven ability to grow client accounts and identify new opportunities for partnership and impact.
• Enjoy working in cross-disciplinary teams where business, design, data, engineering, and regulatory matters meet to create impactful health innovations.
Additionally, we appreciate if you:
• Have strong networks among Dutch hospitals, clinics, insurers, or medtech companies.
• Understand EU and national digital health and health AI regulation, such as the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and the EU AI Act.
• Are familiar with innovation procurement models in healthcare — innovation partnerships, public-private partnerships, or consortia-based collaborations.
