Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Fitness Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will embody the values of Midlands Park Hotel and play a crucial role in delivering personalized fitness programs that enhance the well-being of our guests. As a Personal Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for creating tailored fitness plans, motivating clients, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment, all while contributing to our purpose of providing exceptional experiences for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Care:

Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and addressing the unique fitness needs and goals of each client.

Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to design personalized training programs that promote physical and mental well-being.

Monitor client progress and adjust fitness plans as needed to ensure optimal results and continuous improvement.

Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the fitness centre, encouraging guests to feel comfortable and supported in their fitness journey.

Energy & Drive:

Lead engaging and dynamic fitness classes that inspire and motivate participants.

Stay current with the latest fitness trends and techniques, incorporating them into training sessions to keep workouts fresh and exciting.

Promote and participate in hotel wellness initiatives and events, demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Doing the Right Thing:

Ensure all fitness activities are conducted in a safe and professional manner, adhering to industry standards and hotel policies.

Maintain a clean and organized fitness area, regularly inspecting equipment and facilities to guarantee a safe workout environment.

Act with integrity and professionalism, respecting client confidentiality and providing honest, constructive feedback.

Always Getting Better:

Continuously seek opportunities for professional development through certifications, workshops, and training.

Solicit and act on feedback from clients and colleagues to improve service delivery and personal performance.

Collaborate with the hotel team to identify and implement innovative fitness programs and services that enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Certified Personal Trainer (REPS/CPT) or equivalent certification.

Proven experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainer.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire individuals of all fitness levels.

Knowledge of fitness assessment techniques and exercise physiology.

CPR/AED certification is preferred.

Pool Plant training is preferred.
