Role Overview

We’re now hiring a video and influencer strategy mastermind who’ll be the hands-on creative brain of our upcoming talent agency with a strong video production focus.

Use your exceptional video storytelling abilities to ideate with, write scripts for, and direct an army of young and talented influencers and actors to create content that feels natural and convincing. Work on our exciting portfolio brands (luxury fashion, next-gen interior design, rising software startup, award-winning fine-dining) and for external brands that our talented cast collaborates with.

In an age of disintegrating attention spans and increasing social isolation, and now also with AI videography looming on the horizon, the battle for eyeballs will be won by those who master instantly convincing naturalness and relatability. With your help, we want to create a globe-spanning content pipeline that’s both worth the viewers’ precious time and also maximally engaging. Help us create this holy grail.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with our talent to create impactful content strategies to reach business goals for our portfolio companies and also external companies

• Write razor sharp scripts, be a master at using emotional hooks to get exactly the reaction you want from your viewers, and know how to get the videos made

• Work with our talent hunter and talent manager to identify and onboard the best talent

• Identify talent with great potential while they're still small and raise them to their maximum and beyond

• Work with your network and recruiters to build a skilled production team of video editors, designers, writers etc

Skills & Qualifications

• Have a track record of directly creating impactful and well produced video content

• Long-term foresight to not only plan the next video but predict the kind of content strategy the entire next year, or longer, requires

• Be able to create long-lasting video and show formats to cement talent authority and brand prestige

• Ability to spearhead the creation of modern and gripping promo videos

• Can plan exciting events to bring together our talent and unsigned talent in real life to cultivate community and prestige

• Bilingual Japanese and English with extensive international background to cater to both domestic and worldwide audiences

Project PSYOP is a fully integrated influencer, actor & actress, and content creation agency with the aim to dominate the Japanese and APAC social media video landscape with vastly superior talent and storytelling quality.

We aim to create a home for the highest quality, most promising, most ambitious influencer and actor/actress talent first in Japan and then APAC. We want to be seen as a prestigious luxury management house that only the best can enter. Talent will work both for our portfolio companies and also external companies whose product and service quality values are aligned with our ideals. This allows us to create maximally optimized campaigns for our ambitious portfolio companies while offering diverse project opportunities for our talent cast.

We not only manage talent but also help direct and produce their content strategies. We help ideate, script, film, edit, and design to achieve viral reach and a unique viewership experience at the same time. Our idealistic goal is to combine the naturalness of self-produced content with premium productions to create a novel type of immersive social media content.

Orion Facey, our Creative Director, has achieved notable creative output in the literary, fashion, and industrial design world. Together with Jannik Wambsganss, our CEO and lead investor, they form a determined and effective team with the mission to find the best executors and marketers to create a new class of products and marketing strategies.
